I humbly wish to acknowledge the receipt the check of $480.00 as Mass Stipends for 16 Triduum Mass. I have already started to celebrate the Mass for the *ad intentionem dantis*. Wednesday, April 15, 2009Dearest Mrs. Patti Melvin,Today I have posted the Triduum Mass Cards to your office. I have already celebrated the Mass for the given intentions and very specially prayed for their family. The date of the celebration of the Mass is mentioned in the enclosed letter. Being a student and not pastorally engaged I can celebrate Triduum Mass for the intentions. This will really facilitate my studies, as I have no Mass intentions here. I record my sincere thanks to you. Thank you so much for your concern and love towards the ministers of the Church. As a younger brother, I can only assure my prayers to you. Please pray for my studies in Rome as well. Thank you so much for your spiritual awakening message in the spring issue of the ‘Dedicated Decades’. I continue to pray my appointed Decade daily. God is giving me enough spiritual reward. I pray for the benign blessings from Heaven for the success of your ministry. Ave Maria! Fraternally Yours in Jesus and Mary, Fr Tajo Leyon, Rome Instituto degli Oblati di Maria Vergine Roma ITALY |
Thursday, April 9, 2009Dear Apostles of the Living Rosary,Recently, someone sent to us a review that appeared on the internet which described a Rosary which is made in Italy and distributed through luca of Web Trade Inc. and reputable Catholic companies in the world. The review detailed certain symbols on the Rosary, many of which can be seen only with a magnifying glass and are dubious at best. The Rosary is called the NEW AGE Rosary. Friday, February 20, 2009Most Dear Mrs. Patti MelvinPrayerful Greetings from Fr Tajo, Rome I am in receipt of the packet which you had sent through the kind hands of Marilena Testatonda and I'm surprised to see the pictures, prayers, and other sacred objects. Thank you so much. Now I am doing my doctoral studies at Pontifical Oriental Institute. And presently I found my residence with the Oblates of Virgin Mary (OMV) in Rome. Many priests from overseas stay here and I do their studies in Rome. I have explained to them about 'Universal Living Rosary Association of St. Philomena' and I distributed some of the devotional materials to them. They were much pleased to hear about the association and promised that they will do whatever they can in the future. But being a student priest, I am not much engaged in pastoral activities here. After two years, I will go back to North India (Satna Diocese) and I will be continuing my teaching carrier in the Theological College (Seminary) along with the duties of tribunal and the chancellery. I will be teaching the seminarians – the future pastors, and they are the one who can do much for the spread of Rosary in the parish and houses. So they should me motivated well before becoming a priest. As far as I understand, this will certainly do much. I will introduce this association to the priests of my diocese and to the seminarians studying for different diocese in our seminary. I promise my dedication to the association and I will do whatever I can do for the organization. I will try my best to spread the power of the Rosary amidst the catholic faithful in North India, especially in the diocese of Satna. I join with your efforts to spread Our Lady's living Rosary. Thank you for assigning me with the decade of Coronation. I will meditate and pray with the intentions assigned to me. I will assure my prayers for you, for the association and for all its members. AVE MARIA! With much love in profound prayers Fr Tajo Leyon Rome Italy |
